Join Ken Hippler for Good ‘N Country as he pays tribute to the late, great Jeannie Seely, who sadly passed away on August 1st at age 85.
A Grand Ole Opry member for 57 years, she has more Opry appearances than ANY other artist, taking that stage nearly 5,400 times! She was an accomplished singer, songwriter, radio host, AND the first female to host the Grand Ole Opry. Ken will spin some of her music, along with some duets with Jack Greene, songs she wrote or co-wrote, recorded by other artists, and an interview by former Arkansas governor (now ambassador) Mike Huckabee about her career.
If you are a Jeannie Seely fan, you won’t want to miss this episode, which is now only available to stream on-demand right here on the Good ‘N Country show page.
